well you all have been so helpful so far,so a have a second ? for you all.
I have a 48 scale PBY-5A cat to do some time in the future and would like to do something differant to it then the standard monogram box job.I need info on paint schemes and markings just not only the standard U.S.N.job but from around the world during ww2. Thinks DiggerSmile [:)]Pirate [oX)]

There was a lovely white + blue cheatlines scheme of a Canso operated by a large oil company in Venezuela... But that's much later the '45... I have, somewhere details of that, if you are interested...

Go no further than the RAAF "Black Cats" of WW2 great looking and a world of weathering possibilitie.
I havent looked but there is bound to be info on the web, and the decals are avaliable as well, try some Aussie shops online.
