"Amodel" quality reports?
Posted by oldhooker on Tuesday, December 23, 2003 11:34 PM
Greetings,

I recently found a 1/72 PZL Wilga from "Amodels", and was wondering what type kits these are, as I've never built obe before.

Thanks in advance....

Lots of flash and therefore cleaning to do... but what a fantastic range of models they have!

Agree, I've got one of their Yak Forgers.

Lots of clean up, some sink marks to fill and indistinct panel lines that need rescribing, but great subjects untouched by mainstream manufacturers.

Well worth the effort,

Thanks guys.....

Yes, those Yak's they have really would look good amongst my other Soviet/Russian models! Also, thanks for the comments on the PZL Wilga! I'd love to see a 1/48th of that aircraft, but for now I'll just have to hold the 1/72nd up close and squint my eyes! Wink [;)]

The Amodel's sound a lot like the old Airfix kits, with the flash and pitting.

Thanks again!
