seamless suckers

Anybody here ever tried any seamless suckers products.
I have their 1/48 F-16 wide-mouth intake and it doesn't fit well
at all. It is at least a 1/4 inch to wide. I want to know if this is a
fluke, or a common thing.

I think I have that set, but haven't opend it up and checked to see how it fits. I'll have to check it out next week when I get back home.

I have used their intakes for the 1/32 scale Revell F-4 and they fit perfect. You have to use them on the kit they were specifically designed for. If they are made for the Monogram kit, you can not use them for the Hasagawa kit, as they will not fit correctly.

It is made specifically for the Hasegawa kit and it doesn't fit well at all.
It is way to thick, like i said, at least 1/4 inch all around.

I don't know what to tell you. I have heard only positive comments about their intakes. Several of my friends have also used them and had no problem.

Are you sure you didn't get a 1/32 instead of the 1/48 you were looking for. 1/4 inch is a huge amount to be off by in that scale. Just seems hard to believe that they were that far off.

You mentioned having used Seamless Sucker intakes for a 1/32 scale Revell F-4 Phantom. Exactly how did they fit, and which F-4 kit did you use them on( F-4E early gun-nose, F-4J, RF-4C, or, F-4E late gun-nose?)
Also, as I have all four of the above kit(to which at least two will be cannaballized for the other two), I have not been able to obtain any info on price/availabilty. Any help with that?[blue]

Hey out04,
The last time I was on meteors site, I saw a few Seamless intakes(Cutting Edge..www.meteorprod.com)for the Falcon.
I am not sure if they bought the molds from Seamless Suckers or are they their own molds.
Maybe get another one from this site and see if that one fits!!(I know $$$) Its worth a shot though.

Ask for a replacement and send them back the one that doesn't fit. Most companies should honor such a return policy. Ask for your money back or stop payment if they hassle you. You have rights to get what you have paid for. That usually shuts them up. That said, I've never interacted with Seamless before. Good luck!

I have used the intakes for the tamiya f-4's and they were great, I thought the revell f-4 kits were a lot of hassle, but the result is worth the effort. To add to the f-16 question, perhaps you have the a model, the c version is different or as has already been mentioned, you may have received the wrong set or the wrong scale. The version and the manufacture does make a difference. Good luck. Vince
