Hayate Comes Home
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, December 24, 2003 9:50 PM
Since I haven't done a composite image in a while, I thought I'd post a pic for all of us that have snow on the ground, and temps in the teens. Hope you like it, and thanks for letting me share it with you.

MERRY CHRISTMAS !

Thanks, chopperfan, J-Hulk & dj ! The warm colors & palm trees of the background pic are just what I need this time of year. I can almost feel the tropical breeze that's blowing on the palm trees . . .

chopperfan - the prop is Photoshop. Its a modified circular gradient with a radial blur & modified color.

Oh, yeah, I almost forgot. The plane is a 1/48 Hasegawa Ki 84 Hayate (Frank), out of the box with kit decals. Its a great kit to build.

Glad you like it !

Thanks, Bruce & thyamis.
You know, when I look at this pic now, all I can see is the scene from "North by Northwest." I expect to see Cary Grant running from the plane !
