AMT/ERTL A-20G havoc.(1/48)

Smile [:)]Hi everyone,

I saw this kit in a magazine in the UK and I've tried shopping around for it on the web and I can't find one. It's a great kit and I'd love to build one. If any of you know where I could get my hands on one, I'd appreciate your help.

I've already tried hannants/squadron/e-hobbies/wonderland with no success, so any other ideas would be most welcome.

Many thanks,

Darren.Wink [;)]

At this point, I think you're best bet would be Ebay. It's been a while (close to 10 years) since that kit has been first released and I don't think any other manufacturer has picked up the molds for a re-release.

If you can't find it, just keep your eyes on AMTech releases.

AMTech seems to have a lot of AMT aircraft molds at their disposal for reissue and inprovements. If the A-20 kit is good, I suspect you'll be seeing it in their line before much longer.

Many thanks guys. I saw the A-20J on Great Models and ordered one. It was one of those "I just had to...." purchases!

Cheers,

Darren.

Hey Tango;
If you don't mind the wait I've seen the A-20B/C, A-20G, A-20J, and the P-70 on EvilBay ranging from $9.99 to 24.99 and from 2 to 7 days for the auction

You may want to also invest in True Details resin wheels. (the kit wheels have a "fish scale" pattern). The set also includes the raft, if you want to pose the canopy open.

Pix is right about the True Details set. It adds a lot to and A-20 kit. I've used it twice for the A-20's in my collection.

I have seen a few on Ebay. I have built this kit and I have to say it was a great build with very few problems. Disapprove [V] Sadly enough when i moved i left the built kit at my parents house and my sisters kids had a field day with it. Banged Head [banghead]Banged Head [banghead] So now i to have to look for another kit. Banged Head [banghead]Banged Head [banghead]
