So far, so good. This conversion is charging ahead with few difficulties .... yet.

I have started a page on my site about this conversion which you can check for the lastest work in progress.

Cutting Edge provides both interior and exterior masks with this package which is really nice.

Coming along nicely there, Swanny. The "stepped" nose will make for an interesting 111. The camo schemes for these birds was great. The only difficulty I had with the He 111H was the wheel wells. I wish they had engineered them differently. They molded the gear doors with the sides of the wheel well, didn't they ?

Yes, they did mold those with the gear doors. I did an H-5 when they first came out so this is actually my second 111. I am doing this is an overall light gray rather than the splinter scheme. It was a tough choice and I may have to buy another just to do the tricolor scheme. Oh my aching wallet!

This conversion is starting to show it's teeth. I just spent three and a half hours on the left wing and have not made a great deal of progress - grrrrrr.

Swanny, Man, that's looking really good (again!)! Keep at it and i'm sure it'll turn out great! i can't wait for the next progress report! Smile [:)]

Oh, and if your wallet is starting to hurt because of this, then maybe it's time to quit your job and build models for museums or the movies (either that or pull one of your kids out of school! Tongue [:P]).
