Well I'm not sure what exact scheme you had in mind, but there were lots of Bf-109E-3's
painted with the yellow nose and rudder identification marking. By late summer 1941 many of these aircraft were painted in the RLM 74/75 grey scheme over RLM 76 underside. For most of it's service life however, E-3's were in the RLM 70/71/65 or RLM 71/02/65 schemes.

Iam getting ready to build a ME 109 e-3 and was going through my books looking a paint schemes and was wondering if i could do it in the yellow and grey paint scheme ya know what iam talking about lol. Or if that would that only be on other versions of the 109. To many 109s.


First i need to finish this tank.Big Smile [:D]
