                        "RLM" is an acronym for "Reich Air Ministry." They set the paint standards for that time period. Roughly equivalent to the U.S.'s FS. Luftwaffe paints are usually listed with these numbers, assuring that you get the color you want. Shades vary subtly by manufacturer, though. Model Master lists their bottled Luftwaffe paints by RLM #, so I'm just assuming that they do the same with the spray cans.

                        The black green is known as RLM 70. Testor's probably has it available in a can. The other topside color is RLM 71 dark green, and the undersides were finished in RLM 65.

                        Hi, I recently purchased the Monogram 1/48th Stuka JU87R2. The directions call to color the plane (predominately) Black green. I do not use an airbrush so I rely mainly on Testors & Model Master spray cans for my models. Can anyone please recommend what to use to replace the black green, etc. I was thinking about using Model Master Dark green but have never used it before. I'm not concerned about matching the color of an actual Stuka, however, I don't want it to look "silly" either.

                        Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
