Future IS acrylic so I don't see how it is more rigid than other acrylics and even if it were I question what would cause it to "move" in the first place unless someone was literally bending the plastic parts.
As I have said before it is common for people to airbrush murals on cars with water based acrylics and then clear coat them with hard, urethane clears and there are no cracks.
I think the reason they say don't put enamels over acrylics is because the solvent based paint can attack an acrylic paint that is usually water based if applied incorrectly over it.
It sounds to me like an adverse reaction of the Gunze paint with the Future.
Maybe Swanny can shed some insight into this unfortunate incident.
