Fred,

from wiki

  • Length: 146 ft (44.5 m) - 3' (.92m)

  • Wingspan:
    • Extended: 137 ft (41.8 m) 2.85' (.87m)
    • Swept: 79 ft (24.1 m)  1.65' (.5m)

 Impressive huh.

Andrew

Geez, 3' long and 2' wide?  I don't even have the bench space to work on something that large, let alone display it.  As it is, the X-15, at just under 2' long, is getting a bit unwieldly.

Nice BONE. That is a huge acft you have tackeled  and she turned out great. Nice job getting the NW to be turned to break up the straight on approach. How long on the JDAMS entering the weapon bays? Again great job and GOOD LUCK if you enter the contest. Charlie

WOW.  Thanks for all the compliments.  This is by far the biggest aircraft I have ever built.  She's so big, I don't know what I'm going to do with it.

I lied when I said it was done.  i decided to make a few changes.  The rear cockpit ejection doors can now be in the open or closed position, and I'm in the process of adding wing blankets.  Pictures coming later.

Thanks again for the praise

Looks good, Rob, but where will you eat dinner?  Who cares, the B-1 will impress your wife so much she won't even remember dinner!  Nice work, the nozzles really stand out.

The B-1 should be wrapped up this week less weapons.  I'm waiting for a company called Shull24 to re-open so I can order the JDAMs.  Anyway.  Here's where I'm at.  Weathering is complete.  i started putting the gear on, but there's a lot of adjustment that needs to be done first so the mains sit flat.
