Mrs Dj's completed Hs-126 (now with better pics!)
Posted by djmodels1999 on Saturday, January 3, 2004 4:07 PM
Since I could not get the pic onto Ron's site and that the Mrs was dying to show off her latest completed model (her 3rd ever), I uploaded a pic onto my site. Ufortunately, the quality of the picture is not as good as I can not have that big files in there... So, while we await the Return of Ron's Gallery, here my Mrs new little bird (that has already taken the place of one of MY models in MY display cabinet, as one would have expected..!)

Two Better Resolution Pics at the bottom of this Page...

Thanks Pixilater, I believe it was your suggestion I followed wasn't it? I know I asked for some advice and it was one of the suggestions, and I decided to give it a go.

Thanks

I am working on two different armor vehicles at the moment and another plane a Gloster Fladiator Mk.I I have had almost a week and a half off from work and it has spoiled me, I have been getting a tremendous amount done, I hate the thought that once I go back to work things will have to slow down on the modeling from.Sad [:(]

Very nice job, Mrs. Dj! Cant wait to see more pics of that. Thanks for sharing it with us, Dj. Btw, my wife's P-47 also evicted some of my stuff in my cabinet. Yes, the ones sitting right in the middle. I know the feeling, Dj.

Great work Mrs. Dj! Man, why can't my models look more like that?! Don't worry about work... I'm sure that like some of the people here you'll trade-off something less important for it -- like sleep. Tongue [:P] Post some more pics when you get a chance!

VERY VERY Nice work! Ditto on the 3rd kit comment mentioned earlier! Wish my 3rd looked that good, heck I wish my 33rd looked that good! LOL Of course I can see and no where all my mistakes are....so none of my stuff ever looks great to me.....Now if I could learn to say thats good enough, I will be better off in more ways than one! LOL

Great Work and Nice Display base!

Thanks to everyone for all their wonderful comments! I was more pleased with this effort than on my first plane the Fokker DR1. I suppose you gain a bit more experience with each model you build. Thanks again to everyone.

Oh no! Im getting Xs again. No wait ... Ron's site ...!

Excellent job, Mrs. Dj. Nice colors on the Hs-126. My third kit was a sorry glob of styrene and glue with mixed-up paint added a month later. Can't wait to see the next one.

Again well done for the HS 126.....Gladiator, it seems that you are able to find all the kits I want...lol
The 1/48 Roden kit is too expensive for me, space permits 1/72 only....Don't tell me you found the Matchbox or Lindberg kit....lol

I must say Thyamis, Domi bought me the Gladiator for my b-day so I don't know where he got it : ) just ask him. I hate my job, I have not been able to model for four whole days now.....too tired when I get home.
