B -52 wheels were originally silver.  At some later date, I am not sure just when, they started painting them white.  A lot of the hubs were painted in bright colors, red, blue, green, etc for different squadrons.

Huh... In the Gathering of Eagles clip, they're white with a metallic hub looks like..  Who'da thunk it?

Guess you can go silve with the SE Asia and White with SAC...

Look at around 7:09 here from Bombers B-52:

The video is pretty dark, but it looks like silver lacquer or something similar.

There's also a clip on YouTube from A Gathering of Eagles--the scene with an emergency landing.

Given that the underside is black, I'm SWAG-ing that this BUFF is painted in SE Asia (T.O. 1-1-4?) camo...

Testor's Model Master Steel (or plain ol' Silver with a little black mixed in) would be my choice of paint... Dunno why there'd be any other color on a SAC Anti-Nuke finish...
