Super-impressive, more so considering it is 1/72.  I consider the Typhoon one of the better looking British aircraft of the WWII. Looking forward to seeing the completed article. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the information, when I replaced my P880 (seems like an earlier model of the z981) I didnt know Kodak still did the psudo DSLR, might keep an eye out when I replace my current camera IME they do a better job than the low end canon/nikon DSLR at a cheaper price.

For z981 question: first of all d50 it's a digital SLR , and z981 it's a bridge class camera, then she have a lowest image quality but not so low respect the nikon . kodak have more than double of pixels (d50 6MP, Z981 14MP).

I have it from few time and actually try the manual settings to take pictures and need more study on it.

Can made even HD video. I brought the kodak because the D50 is not only mine but shared with a friend for work, then needed a camera free of work duty.

I hope to learn more about manual settings, latest pictures of napier engine is toke with completely manual setting with manual focus and macro subet.... she have lots of setting to discover . I found it at a very lo price ,195 € with battery, battery charger and other accessories.

Awesome work mate, and brush painted OMG, I have trouble doing as well as yours with an airbrush .

As for the camera how do you find it? I used to have a Kodak P880 and loved it to death, until one of my kids spilt a drink on its focusing/lens area, would of cost me more to fix than it was worth.

from now i've changed camera to take pictures.. left the nikon d50 ,  i've brought a kodak z981.

i preferred to not use decals for invasion stripes so i painted it whit enamels.

all colors are from humbrol and model master enamels.

at this point surely this not seems the napier sabre engine...looking at others airplanes engines i think this is one of the wrongest to start my first scratch a of an engine...

I have detailed only one of thetwo sides of engine, theother side where valves are, is not visible.

used a great variety of plastic heet and rods .

Engine castle completed whit rods joined even with internal metal pin to fortify the structure.

I tri to put on this scale (and other kits that you know ) all i can do for realism and details but..

sometimes here comes some error .. when i replace the main gear weels ,put the structure strips in wrong way as show this picture of the real at the primeportal site .

Soon i'll put a computer on workbench ,for reference consulting, that will allow to finish also the he-177 twin engine .

That is the build he means.  Chuckw is a an professional artist who is an extreme detail freak about realism on his planes, but it ends up with them being absolutely stunning works.

Who is ChuckW!!! Oh dear... Another great scratchbuilder on here. Have a look in the aircraft section for a Me410 build. There is some amazing stuff in there.
