Hey Mud;
the answer to your question is YES, you could use the stencilings on both Euro 1 & Ghost schemes but for the Desert Camo'd scheme I think they are browns not black, and the Boars fase is also Browns not Black & White

excellent... the twobobs site helped alot. Quick question for those who have built the Monogram kit already... can you use the existing decals with the Gray Ghost paint scheme or do you have to do a aftermarket decal set?

Hey My _name_is_mud:
well I hate to brag but I was in Iraqi Freedom with an A-10 Unit stationed in Kirkuk AB, & Tallil AB and our birds where painted the Ghost scheme, Dk & Lt Ghost Grey as with all other A-10's now but there where a couple of Desert Camo'd birds from Barkdale AFB back during the 1st Gulf War but they never made it to the AOR (Area Of Responability) instead they just toured the States for Troop support, Two Bobs has the set for those A-10's and they have the FS #'s to make the Scheme but after 1992 all ACC Fighters (including Attack) planes where painted the grey camo schemes and Bomber where painted the Gunship Grey (even the F-15E's, go figure),
If you have any questions about the Ole Hawg's just drop a line

A-10 Warthog with Desert Camo?

I'm actually finishing my first military model (I've done a couple Macross models previously, which are loosely based on military aircraft) after an over 15 year hiatus from the hobby. I chose the Revell 1/48 A-10 as my first subject. I was thinking of doing a Iraqi freedom version, but I can't find any good pics to base the paint scheme on (Actually, I don't even know if they bothered to paint the A-10's with desert camo!). Do you have any desert camo referencen pics of the A-10?
