OK, Guys, especially JHulk or anyone living in Japan.
I am looking for a source for Japanese squadron decals for modren and historical fighters. The reason for this is my wife.
She's Japanese and has been veerryy understanding about this all-consuming hobby we are all slaves to.
I thought it was time to do a special just for her! (I am Irish and we live in Ireland).
I am thinking of Phantoms and Eagles and anything else that comes to mind.
Thanks in advance.
Liam

Will keep my Eyes peeled next time I am heading over to Kiya Hobbies, most of the HS close to me don't store much on AM parts for plane models, military & cars seems to be the big seller.

Also have a look at some of the Hasegawa and Fujimi Kits, plenty of with Japanese markings and some "US "kits were released in a smaller number with japanese insignia. I got the Apache with the japanese insignia.

Did you check Hobby Link Japan? They might have something on their catalog.

Just did a search on Decal & Air:all looks like PLATZ and LifeLike Decals are your best options.
You can get to the PLATZ website via HLJ.

Not Japanese but got myself the WW II Nose-art decal sheet, good stuff on there.

"modern" isn't my bag, but since you're in the emerald isle, have you tried www.hannants.com ?
i use them a lot, and they've got a very user friendly site...
try a 1/48 search under decals/military aircraft using either phantom or eagle as your key words; you'll probably get a lot of answers, but i'm sure you'll get something stationed in japan...
hope this helpsSmile [:)]

Here are 2 more manufacturers for Japanese marking Decals:

NBM 21 or New Born Modelers

P.H.U.

I am sure there will be more as there are many private or very small companies making AM parts and Decals over here.

Not sure waht availability overseas or on the Net is for those Companies though.

Howdy, Liam!

It looks like MadModelFactory has you covered, but I'll take a poke around some of the shops here in Osaka and see what I can see.
