I Love This Site!
Posted by willuride on Thursday, January 15, 2004 4:38 PM
To Everyone,
I just wanted everybody to know how much I love this site. This is the greatest place in the world to meet friends, get info on aircraft, and have a great time. I now check this forum out daily, because I like to see the new topics that come up. There are a lot of you folks who are very knowlegable on just about everything that comes up, and I am keeping topics in mind for future projects. If I have any questions about a modelling subject, I will browse this forum, or simply ask. The knowledge that comes out of here just blows my mind. It's great. I would thank each of you seperately but I would be afraid to leave someone out (on accident of course).Big Smile [:D]. So I say [Thank you] to everyone who participates in this forumBow [bow]. You all are a great bunch of people.Wink [;)]

Jeff, you're right about this site. Heaps of info and ideas, plus you feel like you've made a new bunch of friends from around the world. Feels good to know a common interest can bring people together despite all the crap going on in the world at the moment.

Cheers...Snowy.

I liken it to walking into a virtual LHS and just shooting the breeze with a bunch of buddies. My 2 cents [2c]

Glad to know you like this site. I too find this site very helpfulSmile [:)]. I really get lots of help from others and they are eager to help, and I always try to contribute help to the others if I can. I also find some discussions very interesting(e.g. best fighters in WWII, best fighter pilot). So keep visiting, you will always get more than you expect.Big Smile [:D]

I agree with everyone. This is such a great site for knowledge on both modelling and the subjects we model. I actually sent an e-mail to FSM several years ago suggesting they make a site like this, but at the time they didn't sound interested Blush [:I]. I'm not saying I directly influenced the production of this forum... I seriously doubt I did ... but I'm just glad they finally did it. This is what the internet is all about! Cool [8D]

I love the mag too but I have been out of money for years so I have missed the mag for the last three years. I hope eventually I'll get to get my back issues. I too try to check this site daily as well as ARC. I love them both and glad I found them. I would like to also thank FSM for creating such an excellent forum. I think is one way to bring those of us together from all over the world when a face to face meeting is not always possible. Thanks to all those who have helped me. You know who you are I cannot remember all of you.

In the last year I have become so attached (ok, ok, addicted) to this site that not a day goes by that I don't check it out. I always feel like I'm walking into a second home. And I have made such great friends here from all over the world. It just boggles the mind.

It is a great site, there's a lot of invaluable model tips here. What would be even better would be a FSM chat room but then, I wouldn't find the time to work on models.

When I get online this is the first and the last place I go... and usually once or twice while I'm on. I usually check here before I even check my mail. I have also made at least one good friend that I talk (type) to all the time... we talk about models, aircraft, any thing. I would have never met them if it wasn't for this sight, and he's a good bud. I have learned alot from everyone else, and I am addicted to the quizes and the polls.
