Thanks guys! I really had fun doing those. I appreciate your comments. It looks like I'm starting an explosion of new Civilian builds here! Big Smile [:D]

Greg, I sent out your kit today (Jan. 20th) It went out Priority Mail so you should get it in five business days according to the postal clerk. Lemme know what you think! I personally can't wait to see how you build yours!

Thanks for all the great comments everyone! Smile [:)] Thanks to oldhooker as well for that list of 1/48 scale stuff. As I build only in1/72 scale, it doesn't help me much, but I'm glad you were able to help Bruce. Approve [^]

I apologize about the Pictures. I believe they were moved from the Uploads section of Rongeorge's site to Aircraft. Blush [:I]

Here they are:

Piper Aztec in 1/72 scale:

and the Piper Cherokee in 1/72 scale:

I'm sorry the pics couldn't be sharper. Disapprove [V] My Digicam really is old and obsolete! Maybe when my Birthday comes along.....Wink [;)]Big Smile [:D]

You wouldn't happen to know if there is a 1:48 kit out there somewhere, eh?

Aurora made Cessna 310 and Piper Aztec plastic kits, back in the early 60's, that can still be found sometimes on E-Bay.

Hi Duke, e-mail coming at ya. don't know if its just my c**p computer but i can't see the pics. but judging by the above coments they'll be sweet. i havn't found a cessna 150/152 yet but i have a c172 that fills that gap in my collection. plus that reminds me, i also worked on a C310. i know theres no injection kits of this bird but wonder if there is a vacform. cheers and best regards. I like these very much. I learned to fly on a Cherokee 140, and a fellow offered me multi-engine training in an Aztec, but that is a story for another day.

Really nice work. Don't get to see much in the way of civil aviation stuff. It's a nice change. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Obiwan, so far there are no kits of those in 1/72 scale. I wish there was! I did see a couple Cessna's in 12/48 scale, but they are rare. I can't remember who makes them. That wet tarmac is the surface of my workbench! Yeah it does make a great photo base! I have another workbench next to it that has a fine particle board surface that looks like sand, and looks great for me Armor models.

Nice builds !
You're right, there are not many civil aircraft kits made, built, or shown on the large amount of forums out there.

Very refreshing ! Thanks for sharing.

After all this time, I've finally finished building my little Pipers!

Here they are:

This is my Piper Aztec in 1/72 scale:

And here is my Piper Cherokee in 1/72 scale:

I hope you like them.

Also, Greg, I found the parts that I thought were missing from the Piper Aztec kit that is waiting here. It is complete! Looking forward to hearing from you.
