Great work, Swanny. The splash of color really sets off the single-color topside camo. The white wingtips are also nicely done. Good clean build. I enjoyed watching it come together.

How's the B-26 coming along?

Thanks, everybody for the kind words. This has been an incredible build, 100 to 110 hours.
Shrikes - the antennea wire is invisible thread drawn across a black permanent marker then attached with super-glue.
Butz - yes, it started out as the regular Monogram kit with the two torpedos.
Willuride & Shrikes - Can't submit it to the FSM because I have already promised it to Hyperscale Magazine. Thanks for the mention though.
As for the Marauder - it is coming along nicely. I have been finishing seams (the hardest part of that build) and masking clear parts. I will be attempting the salt method of paint chipping (a first for me) on that model - let's see how it comes out.

Hey Swanny,
I'm really really impressed w/ the conversion!! The over all appearance is just unbelieveable.
I really like how the wash turned out. You said that the He-111 was the Rev/Mon kit??
Anywho great job my friend.

Once again, Swanny delivers! Man, that's one fine looking pedro you have there! What did you use for the antenna wire? You should submit this one to the Magazine! Big Smile [:D]
BTW, how's your marauder coming along?

Did you use a wash for the panel lines or a drafting pen?

Regards, Dan

That is a sludge wash made from Grumbacher acyrlic paste, Higgins ink, liquid dish soap, liquitex flow aid and water.

Thanks everybody for the nice comments.

Great job Swanny...it has been really neat following your progress on line. That thing looks great, what's with the nose art? It looks really colorful for a plane of that era... is there something special about it?

This is the fastest that I have ever completed a conversion of this scale, less than a month! It just makes me a little dizzy looking back over the last few weeks of modeling. For those who have not seen my many posts over the last few weeks this is the 1/48 scale Monogram He-111H4 converted to a 'B' Pedro with the Cutting Edge conversion set. Anyway, for your enjoyment here are some pictures.

I should have the review article complete and updated by midday Monday if you are following that.
