Firstly, welcome to the forums, JKrell!! I'm no expert, but giving your F-22 a wash of a darker tone of the base color will give the illusion of depth. There are a couple of methods you can use to achieve this... I think Swanny has a spot on his website about all the basics for washing, and DJmodels has a thread somewhere here about how he applies a wash.
