I agree totally with regards to excessive chipping. I looked at literally hundreds of Zero photos, and very few had anywhere near the paint chipping seen on many models.
Thanks for all the kind words.
Jerry
Beautiful Zeke! I like how you understated the weathering. Over-zealous chipping seems to be in vogue these days. My only complaint is that I need more pictures!

WOW! That build came out great. Thanks for sharing that one.

The detail on the flaps is adequate but minimal. You may want to consider photo-etch to improve this area.
Very nice Zeke. I am starting the early 80s A6M5c and these pics will bring alot of inspiration in my build. I would love to see a shot of the rib detail on the split flaps if possible.

Another gorgeous model Jerry.

Hey wow! Beautiful!
I'm not crazy about the really heavy paint peeling some people do on Japanese subjects. Yours looks friggin' perfect, there but lovely and subtle.
Great job on the pilot and base as well.

Love it, [t$]
Very nice looking Zero! Your pilot figure and carrier deck look awesome!
Oh HELL YEAH---I have that new Tamiya offering and the quality of the kit is amazing...nicely done!
Thanks guys...sorry, I forgot to add that it's the 1/48 kit.
Absolutely gorgeous! Is that the 1/48 scale, or the newer 1/32 scale?
Oh my goodness, that is absolutely amazing! That really looks like the real thing. How long did it take and is that 1/48?

Simply Stunning Jerry . Excellent work as usual.

This is the newer Tamiya kit that goes together very nicely. I made the carrier deck out of stir sticks.
Cheers.....Jerry
