If you get a chance go to swanny's web site, he has an extensive article on the uses of Future

Do a forum search on “decal future” you might get some hits. Smile [:)]
I actually had the same question a few days ago. Check out this thread for what I got:

Omar,

I let the puddle evaporate off, then I put paint over the top to cover the blemish, then my final coat of Future mixed with X-21 Flat Base.

Hey Jeff,
You sprayed over the "water spot" with another coat of Future and all was well? If it wasn't Future, was it a clear coat? Dull or gloss? I'm assuming you let the puddle dry first, right?

Hey Omar,

I posted the same question on Hyperscale about a week ago...I just finished a 1/32 109G-6 and was concerned. I was told to wait 24 hours after the Future was sprayed just to be safe.

I did, and everything was alright. However, make sure you don't allow the Sol to puddle up, because I did have an instance where it stained the paint and Future. It ended up looking like a water spot, but I sprayed it over and everything was fine.

Question for Future-ists...
Posted by oortiz10 on Wednesday, January 21, 2004 11:27 AM
Hey gang,
I've never used Future on any of my kits before. I was wondering, does Microsol react with Future coated finishes? Is it safe? I thought I'd ask before I ruined the paint job and/or my decals. Thanks in advance.
Regards,
-O(mar)
