They had several complications with the P-61, including losing a key man from the development team and also the discovery of a different reference source which was more complete and more accessible. So, at some point, they more or less 'started over'. That's not the right term, maybe, but essentially they had to retrace many steps.
Anyhoo, no word of an updated ETA on this kit.
