Looking for a seaplane
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, March 7, 2003 10:59 PM
I have just seen up close a replica of the Sikorsky S-38B. This is a big bi-plane with two engines that hang down from the top wing. The one that I saw had a zebra strip paint job on it to match the one used by the Johnsons to explore Africa and the Amazon river. I would like to make this model for my colection however I am not very good at vacum form models.

Thanks

I'm pretty sure AZUR proposes a 1/72 kit of that thing. Squadron (if you are in the US) should carry that brand.
