48th scale Vigilanti?

Not that I'm aware of. The April FSM has a list of 2003 kit releases and I didn't see it there, although that may not mean anything either. Hasegawa and Tamiya (and maybe others) usually keep their future releases quiet until the kit is about to be released. Hasegawa just released a F-8 Crusader, so you may be in luck sometime in the future. CollectAire did one in 48th, but it's a full resin kit and pretty expensive.

If history is any judge there should be a Vigilante out soon. Topping the polls is a good indicator that a model will be produced soon. The PBY Catalina, and the DUKW.

There's a rumor that Trumpeter will do a Vigi in 48th.

I would, at this point however, treat it only as a rumor. Would be nice, though, wouldn't it?

I have not seen or heard of a 48th scale vigilante. I have a 1/72 scale airfix vigilante and it is a old kit. I would like to see a original A-5 version model of a Vigilante in 1/72 scale. The RA-5C Vigilantes were based here in my home town Albany,Ga (NAS Albany).

There are only two 1/48 Vigilante kits that I'm aware of and they're both expensive multimedia affairs. One is the mentioned collectaire kit and Cutting Edge made one at roughly the same time.
