Oooooo, now I want one to go with the ME-109G6. Guess when I really get older, it will be a toss up between models, dog food or prescription drugs?

Great work John! Bow [bow]

I plan to build Hasegawa's 1/32 Dora too, but its the old Hase kit. Yup its the High Grade Series with white metal and photoetch parts. But I still got a lot of correction and improvements to do. Sigh [sigh]

The fuselage was upgraded by Hase and the panel lines are recessed, but the wing is their older mold (for the Fw190A) with raised panel lines Confused [%-)]! I have to rescribe it, replace the cannon bulges and accurize the gear wells showing the Jumo engine. Anyway, I got parts from Jerry Rutman and the Verlinden cockpit. The funny part is all of these details are already included in Hase's new Dora! Banged Head [banghead]

I'll build the kit soon and I hope it turns out as good as yours! Keep it up! Big Smile [:D]

Great website too! Cool [8D]

Btw, anybody out there has a photo of the Dora flaps in 'down' position?

Thanks!

I have no idea that had the Hasegawa Dora-9! (old vs new)Blush [:I] IIl tell you this. EVERYTHING FIT PERFECT!! I said that befour. And there is no white metals..Just PE for the kit.

The flaps are 90 degrees! Thats wrong. It looks weird. I was looking for the web that would tell me what kinda of flaps...But nothing. I betcha the Dora is in the "parcking mode" it supposed to be no flaps down.. But im not sure.

I haven't seen many pics of FW 190s on the ground with the flaps dropped, but I did find this one.

Not a D series, but this is probably the max in the lowered position.

Hope this helps.

Pixlilater,

As I always say, better late than later Blush [:I]. Sorry for the later reply and thanks for the picture of the Fw190A with dropped flaps.

Maybe you have pictures of the internal structure of the Fw flaps Big Smile [:D]

Thanks again!

Nice Dora!!

I have 2...right now I'm working on Spitfires...and have a Gloster Meteor about done, and I just finished installing the Eduard cockpit set into another 32nd scale 109G-6. When those are done, my D9s are next.

My two Doras are going to be 'special' builds, they get the treatment, all the add-ons I can get, and get built at the same time.

Very nice job on the Dora. When will we see the fully finished model? I don't have room to display 1/32, but they sure are tempting. Hassie is going to release a new tool FW-190-A, and that might push me pver the edge. Keep em coming.
