It's much bigger than the downtown museum. The U-H center is located out by Dulles Airport. The other major difference that I noticed is that the exhibits at the downtown museum tend to have tighter themes and a lot more to read.

Yup, it's a Regulus, and I don't think I have any better pictures.
It's definitely worth a visit if you can get out there. They'll be adding even more planes as time goes on.
The Silver Hill facility is closed to public tours now (as of March of last year). I got to tour it in December of 2002 and had a great time. Most (if not all) of the artifacts at Silver Hill will be transferred to the U-H Center. There were a fair number of things we saw at Silver Hill that haven't made it over yet.
