Here's a link of some interesting pics of German aircraft. Check out the interesting pic of the BF 109G-14 nose first in the ground ! Also awesome pic of another 109 in desert camo flying through desert at sunset ! Looks like it's flying through hell ! Awesome. Hope you enjoy ! Steve

THANX Steve, nice pics. I have that pic of the 109 inthe desertin a book, based my Tamiya E4 on that pic. The one in the book isn't quite so orange though.

Thank you both for the links. They will come in handy as I am going to start an Academy 1/72 Bf 109 G-14 soon and I don't particularly like either of the schemes included.

It just goes to show there are no hard or fast rules with late war Luftwaffe colour schemes.

Apart from all over RLM 04 being a bit of a non-starter.Wink [;)]

Thanks for the pics! I have seen a couple of them before, in fact the one where the 109 is "flying through hell" is one of the main reasons I built the same plane. Talk about effective camo!

Some real good pics, unfortunately there doesn't seem to be as many good colour pics of Me 109s as those of say allied ww2 aircraft.
