Thanks guys for your nice comments.

I have added all the ignition leads, all 24 of them, and also fitted the ignition lead tubing, the magnetos have been wired up as well As this engine is being depicted as a brand new engine I have painted the exhaust to match, I used Gunze Burnt Iron.

Really nice !

The engines are becoming a favorite assembly for me.

I look forward to seeing the rest of your build as it progresses....

Liberty V12 Aero Engine - WnW DH.9a

I'm building the WnW DH.9a and have started with the Liberty engine. I removed the plastic between the cylinders which gives it a much better appearance. I made and fitted 24 new spark plugs, fitted rubber hose connectors and hose clamps to the 12 pipes on the inlet manifold and made the propeller mounting assembly and fitted it to the drive shaft. I made 12 priming taps from small brass tube and fitted them to the top of the inlet manifold, I also added the plumbing to the front of the engine using 0.25mm copper wire. These photos show the progree sp far, still more work to be done.
