I have been trying to build this kit. Does anybody know of any site that has pictures of the cockpit and possibly, the area under the panel below the nose? Thank you very much!

This is the only color pic I've found on the net. Unfortunately, its a bubbletop & has a black interior, so details don't show well. Hope its of some help to you.

Thanx alot Pix! That's a nice shot. I tried searching also but I can't find pics of the side panels and the flooring. Are there books out there that are readily available?

You might try getting to an airshow. One or two stalls often sell reproduction "Pilots Notes" for WW2 aircraft, and these often show cockpit layouts and sometimes other details too

In the queue: 1/48 Beech Staggerwing (RAAF), P38 (RAAF), Vultee Vengeance (RAAF), Spitfire Vb (Malta), Spitfire VIII x2 (RAAF), P39 x2 (RAAF), Martin Baltimore (Malta?), Martin Maryland (Malta), Typhoon NF1b, Hellcat x2 (FAA)

Believe it or not, Detail & Scale numbers 57 & 58 (two-part series on the P-38 Lightning) have extensive photographs of "Glacier Girl" during and after restoration. Lots of photos. Hope this helps you out.

Shhhhh, don't tell anyone............... I actually like the smell of the non-toxic Testors tube glue. Has a great citrusy smell. I just tape an open tube under each nostril, and away I go!!!Tongue [:P]Wink [;)]

Hey Markuz,

Just wondering how the Typhoon is coming along. I've seen this kit, and I've thought about getting it. I'd be interested to hear what you think of the kit - let us know how it goes.
