Ok, heres another batch along with some questions.

this is a 1/48 raf mustang from tamiya. obviously, this model is not finished. here are the steps for the painting. i laid a base coat of tamiya flat black. then, i mixed the raf colors from tamiya acrylic. applied "my" version of ocean gray, sprayed the green, then postshaded. im not particularly happy with the shade of green, so ive put the project on hold until i gain the motivation to tweak the green again. there has been no wash done on this model and i dont plan to. this is my first try at preshading(mostly done on the bottom of the aircraft) and postshading. what do you think about the post shading? is it overdone? i love the subtlety and control of the postshading over the wash(plus, i just love using my omni 5000), what can i use to get the residue from the window mask off the canopy without damaging the paint job. i used bare metal foil for the first time for mask. i didnt know it would leave a residue. guess ill have to stick with the tamiya masking tape as well.
