I purchased a Hobby Craft 1/72 scale V-22 Osprey Assault Aircraft (kit # HC1375) at a local modeling contest. For only $3 I knew I was taking a chance and thought maybe only a few parts were missing which I could scratchbuild or just leave out. To my surprise it was the kit instructions that were missing! At first I thought "no big deal I'll just contact Hobby Craft online and request a copy".....not! They don't keep copies of out-of-production kits (at least not this version) and told me they could not help but thanked me for the purchase....go figure!
Well a year later still no luck with the instructions when I was reading a back issue of Fine Scale Modeler when a subscriber had this same problem. The editors suggested to list the request for instructions in the forum here and so here I am! Please someone email me a copy or suggest a site where I can download the instructions!!! I would really like to start on this kit!!!
I have found a somewhat convenient way of acquiring instructions for your kits if they are out-of-production, vintage, etc! It only requires that you have an ebay account.
Simply search on ebay for the kit that has your missing instructions and contact the seller and ask them to either email you a copy of the instructions or post them in the item descriptions. Most will do it for you free of charge but there are some who will want payment... usually no more than $10.
HI there,
I happen to be making the model right now, so if your still wanting a copy of the instructions let me know and I will scan them for you.
Cheers Simon
Any chance you still have those instructions as I also have the kit but cant find instructions on net?
If yo are still looking, this link on ScaleMates has a PDF link to download the HobbyCraft instructions:

Here is the actual download link from that page to the DF file:
