Guys, rememeber I posted an image of a captured P-51B, T9+HK? And I kit-bashed the decals and markings?
Well, guess what!? Cutting Edge have done a series of decals for this very same subject....captured warbirds.
Look here: www.meteorprod.com and do a search for the following:
CED48256, CED48257 and CED48258.
Oggy still hasn't stopped laughing!!!
And will I get a share of the profits for "inspiring" them?
Nope. Not even a free sample.
Soooooo, to massage my bruised and battered ego, how's about you all at Cutting Edge who are monitoring this forum, how about you do the Hurrincane that go with this captured group?

I'd like T9536, please. Also think about `V7670 and DF+GC.

I feel your pain. I built the AM P-51 with the splintered black and white camo by cut out black decal film for each of the triangles and not more than a year later a decal sheet was released for it. At least I know i did it the hard way. Sigh [sigh]

But look, on the other hand, maybe they could make all those marvellous versions we dreamed of without daring asking for them. We could do a wish poll, like those on FSM about kits, but here on decals ( maybe also PE or resin ?)

maybe others will follow and produce decals and details that this forum cover. for instance how about a 1/48 pearl harbor series of decals. you know p-40b/c, p-36, b-17, f4f, etc. would like to find something like that. this could be their r and d. but then again maybe this is just wishful thinking on my part.
