The History Channel is advertising a show tonight (8:00 EST - 7:00 CST) about the "Airplanes of World War II".

yeah, they have a couple of good ones on tonight. There is also a show about the history of the jet engine too.

Hmmm, I rented "Memphis Belle" planning to watch it tonight, but maybe I'll save it......

They have been doing some nice stuff on both Russian and German WW II aircraft the last week. Covered the Yak-3, IL2 and an hour on the Fw190. Even showed the TA variants.

for those with digital cable, discovery wings channels 24 hours all the time about aircraft. They do alot on wwII and famous fighter pilots and stuff

oh man, how can you not have the History Channel? I couldn't live without it! Always really good for inspiration too. Now about that Discovery Wings, I would have to pay extra for that, so at the moment I haven't done it yet, but......
