Well, I'm happy for all of you bargain hunters. We don't have a hobby lobby where I live, but it's good to know that someone is cashing in.

I'm a little jealous, but proud of all of you at the same time!

I was on my way to the Hobby Lobby near here, when I considered the project I'm doing at this time, I thought maybe a new kit would distract me too much and I need to get it finished. Working a 1/570th Revell R.M.S. Titanic for my Daughter, super detailing it for a waterline display. Promised it to her about 5 years ago, and just recently got the PE set, so it's time it gets done.

Hey, but I got three great deals the last time they had a sale like that!

I picked up the AM B-25B and SBD-5 and a 1/35 UH-C "Shark" for 50% off the regular prices. I had a $40 Gift Card I was saving for such an occassion so out of pocket was only $15 and some change. I'm happy and no "guilty conscious"! THIS TIME! They marked them, we just buy them!

Clear Left!

I learned my lesson: Don't be afraid to ask for price checks.

MWHAAAAAAHAAAHAAHAA!!!!! Got the Banner Arizona for $12.99. Had a heart attack when I saw the Tamiya Bismark unlabled, I asked and had it marked to $25.50 by a sales associate. Walked out with it for $12.50. I feel SO ASHAMED! NOT! Onto the planes - They didn't have any AM planes, so I attacked a lone Trumpeter F4F for $22.95. Man, I actually had to pay full 1/2 price on that one. Bummer.

Three kits for the price of ONE. It was a good day of hunting.

Mark,

Stay where you are. I'm going to call the cops on you because that was an absolute STEAL!!!!! You lucky dog!!!! You're the one who bought the model and yet I'm going to be feeling good all day knowing that someone got such a sweet deal on an AM B-25! By the way, you're right about the actual cost of them. I think I paid $49.99 for my Doolittle raider.

Nice find, that kit is worth the money even at full retail price in my opinion.

I'm currently working on this kit as well. There are a few problems with this kit. Most of them pertain to the engine cowling and related areas. The other major issue is the window configuration in the tail.

Here is a link that provides some easy fixes to these problems.

Maaaaan.... I am much overjoyed by my latest Hobby Lobby experience.....

I went there to buy an AM Dauntless kit when I noticed a lone un-labeled B-25B kit. I asked one of the associates and he goes "that's $24.99" then puts a sticker on it. I was shocked because I was pretty sure I saw it at around $50 online! armed with my coupon, I got the kit for $13.50 (tax included). can you believe that? An Accurate Miniatures B-25B kit for 13.50? That's cheaper than some of my Monogram models! This is my best deal so far in my years in this hobby!

Anyway, enough with that. I read alot of rants about the accuracy of the kit and I started to wonder if that's why it was priced as such. So far, the reviews I'm getting are half and half. Any opinions out there on this kit? Right now, I'm pretty sure I got a GREAT deal on this kit. Also, I would love to hear about experiences like this.
