Gotta love odd planes!!!

Swanny, it's the HiPM 1/48, like Pix's version, just a different colour scheme.

Like Pix said, the greenhouse they call a canopy was a total pain to mask off, lots of Tamiya tape and a sharp knife blade or seven!

Since that photo was taken someone's curious fingers dropped it and fractured the canopy seam and around the 3 windows. Haven't had a chance to repair it yet.

I do have a couple of photo's which I'll post as soon as I find em.

Swanny I built the HiPM 1/48 kit a few years ago. Its one of over 100 that got damaged when I moved. Still haven't found all the pieces yet ! I posted a pic of the "nightmare" of masking the glazing, and posted this pic of it. I'll provide a link, so I don't post one of my pics on another's thread.

Yes it did fly, but it was a case of too little too late.

Actually, it did fly. The 'A' is much cooler with complete engines and gun bays. I have both and found them to be really fun kits.

Its a nicely detailed kit. I built mine with the wings detachable (interior structure & cannons are viewable this way). Buckles are provided for the belts, which you have to make yourself. The version I got had both Jumo 004 engines plus PE parts.
If you want the wings attached, I would suggest gluing them. The pins that are provided to hold the wings in place just don't work.

I built one years back in 1/48 I believe (easy build-nice detail). Dragon makes nice airplane kits-Dornier Arrow, Henschel Salamander and Mistel, Arado Blitz. If you like Luftwaffe '46 planes also check out Huma models from Germany (esp the Treibefluegel).
