For a paint scheme how bout pink w/ purple pok a dots?? Sorry my niece saw this post. LOL.
OK this will be a serious answer, how bout putting it in US markings? You know if it was to be captured.

I can't remember if the model didn't tip over with only one wing attached (mine is one of the kits that got damaged in moving). You may have to add weight to one side (if you put it inside the engine on the no-wing side, it won't show). Since it was never operational, its essentially a "Luftwaffe '46" kit. The brownviolet & dark green over RLM 76 is probably the most appropriate, or you could go NMF with painted puttied seams like an Me 262. Check Luftwaffe sites for RV band colors, and you can add a unit badge from spares you may have. There's also a diorama possibility, of the AC the way it was found in the factory, with both wings removed (and probably a NMF)

Its pretty much up to you, mark it the way you would like it to be seen. (desert camo with JG 77 badge, and sand filters on the intakes...oooooh)

how did I know you would be the first to respond? :) i kinda figured it when i saw the fuselage... i was thinking of going one wing on and one wing off...any suggesttions on paint scheme or go with the 2 provided

I enjoyed building the kit a few years ago. The interior detail is great. The only problem I had with the kit is the pegs that are used for holding the detachable wings. If you want the wings on, I'd suggest gluing them in place. The pegs will not hold the wings flush with the "fuselage."
