Humbrol-Tamiya colour woes

Humbrol satin 126 US medium gray also comes close. Thank you all for the tips.

Humbrol 31 slate grey is pretty close, certainly way closer than 116, which is US dark green.

i use tamiya acrylics because they are trouble free in my experiences. i airbrush most of my parts with little hand brushing. i usually download about 10 or 12 reference pics of the subject im building, then begin to custom mix the colors i need from the primary and secondary colors i bought from tamiya. you can buy a color wheel at walmart or an art store for very cheap. this saves space on my workbench, and saves dollars on several different colors out there that you may only use once or twice. ive never used humbrol enamels so i cant give you much advice on that subject. but mixing colors is mixing colors. just tweak the 116 and paint a little swatch on some scrap plastic and see what it looks like when it gets semi dry.
