Swanny, the Arii kits certainly do pose their challenges, but they're cheap 'n' fun! Any idea how many WWII kits they put out?

Madda, before I left for Japan I put everything into storage back in the States. That's why I took pix of everything before I left.
Thought I'd be back in a coupla years, and now I'm working on my eleventh! Funny how that works.

Allan: Well, all armor and no aircraft make J-Hulk a dull boy, no?
Check out my Japanese castle in the Diorama forum, too!

Also, there are three new pix in the first post of this topic. Just close-ups of the same models.
If you can see anything needin' fixin' in those pix, please let me know!

I have a small stack of the Arii kits in my stash so I know exactly what you are talking about. Looks like your modeling skills definitly rose to the challege - good job.

I do have a question, though. Were you to build them today, with your armor experience, would you be tempted to bang 'em up & add dirt?

Hey J-hulk I think Squadron still makes the Vac-formed canopies for the old Otaki & Arii kits, but besides the problems they look great I wish Mine would come out that nice,
