Dear Guys!
I just got the Academy 1/32 Sopwith Camel and am looking for reference I have seen, I think here somewhere. The Article dealt with painting the wooden parts, simulating the wood-grain.
Can anyone help please?

I think this may be the thread you're thinking of.

Close, but no cookie. This had something to do with painting the propeller blades. It might have been in reference to wooden bladed aircraft in general, but there was a techinque involved to simulated the grain and color with paints.....
Maybe I have been exposed to too much fumes........
