Well at least Bsyamato still posts on the forum or so I think. Haven't seen him since the first of the year, but he's not someone who left ten years ago.

Great model.  You put a lot of skill and effort into this one and it shows.

bsyamato

Ruddratt it's just post painting after the matt coat with a fine brush 10/0 with humbrol silver trying to follow panels.

The bad thing is that the silver is really old and in some part is too tick. Others try with a silver pencil with good results too Smile need to try me too

Thanx PZL Toast

Greetings bsyamato (hope spelling correct).

Really great result on the Mary. I use brushes most of the time. One suggestion if I may - try using INVISIBLE THREAD for you antenna wire. It is available from Quilting stores which are big in Japan. My wife is a quilter and is in contact with quilters worldwide.

Looking forward to your next effort.

Another very impressive aircraft with your talent of using only a brush!

Now that is an exceptional build, especially given the scale. The added work really goes a long way, and, for my next Japanese aircraft build, I'm gonna have to borrow that paint-chipping technique - it looks flippin' amazing! Do tell how ya did that!

Finished my third plane for the Gamera's Japanese GB

Lots of fun 'n'  difficulties  to manage this short-run kit; scratchbuilded cockpit and flaps, cutted horizontal rudders, heatformed canopy using the really thick monopiece original one Big Smile and other things needed

As ever painted with brushes , used humbrol and model master enamels.

I finished the kit with an alternative plane out of the decals sheet options, so the white hinomaru bases was painted as the tail insigna.

Enjoy the Mary Toast
