Cockpit placards
Posted by Bones-coa on Saturday, February 7, 2004 11:23 PM
Modelers, does anyone make a set in either PE of as decals, of various cockpit placards and warning decals?

Thanks.

Waldron makes cockpit placards in 1/24, 1/32 and 1/48. U.S. (p-51, hellcat, p-38 and some more) German I think, and also spitfire. They usually have an ad in FSM and have some things in the VLS cataloge, Squadron might sell their stuff too.
Hope you can find what you need........

Eduard makes a set for the P47. It's pre-printed PE, and it's pretty good all in all. However, some parts are supposed to be bent to match the curve where they will be installed (like the throttle quadrant) but the ink popps off of those areas......but there are enough parts in the kit that those few losses won't matter. Squadron stocks them.

That's just my opinion.

Thanks guys. I found a set for the 1/32 F-18. I'm also somewhat looking for something like this for a 1/32 A-10 and a 1/48 F-89.

Thanks again.

ReHeat Models Instrument Sets
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, February 10, 2004 9:39 AM
I've seen several guys work that included a selection of the ReHeat dials. I've also seen a few of them advertised in European ads, but I'm having a devil of a time finding a good place to get them in the US.

They make a selection of dial sets and accessory sets in the most popular aircraft scales. Perhaps someone on the board can point you to a good supplier.
