                        Just curious if anyone out there has either scratchbuilt or done a conversion of the regular Flanker to the Su-34 Flanker bomber? It's the one with side-by-side seating for two crew members (a-la F-111). Looks like a cool subject; unclear why kit manufacturers have passed it up in 1/48th.

                        I agree ShamRage... that would be a great subject. I saw a picture of that a/c and fell in love with it right away. It's a really cool looking jet!

                        Zengdefu (sp?) has done a 1/48 of the Platypus. I've got one, but haven't built it yet so I can't vouch for its quality. IIRC, most of their tooling is other companies older tooling, I suspect another mfg has done it too.

                        I screwed up, I looked at my kit and it is actually a SU-27UB... a 2 seat trainer. Sorry!

                        Intresting website with a decent look at various SU-27 aircraft on the market right now.
