DH-108 Swallow progress is slow

Nothing fits for crap on this kit. I have been laying in glue fillets and sanding for a week to get here.

Now it needs some tissue packing and some black primer.

Gee, it must be an AMT kit, huh? Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D] I'm building an AMT kit right now (F7F), and the fit leaves a lot to be desired.

That's gotta be tough, aligning those wings (are they butt-joints?) without a tail for reference of horizontal. You're a braver man than me ! Good luck !

They are all butt joints. The most fun was drilling it for pins and getting it to line up. Even at best I had more than 1/16th of an inch variance at one point. I have an ARBA Wespe in the stash also and am really afraid to open that box now.
