Hasegawa's

I'm working on their D-model now and it's a great kit. It's got a few little bugs, but overall a very nice piece.

Yep. The Hasegawa kit. I've built two of them (single- and two-seater), and they go together quite well.

main complaint at the moment is the way the wingtip missile rails are molded to the upper fuselage. they broke off before i received the model and now im minus one. stupid hasegawa.

grrrrrrrrrrrr

I had the same problem with one of mine. Check the bags mine was in the bag. If not check the box. I agree that the Hasegawa Hornet is the best. Nice options with the front landing gear and the ability to drop the flaps.

About the wingtip rails, I'm am not too sure what you guys mean. The launch rails themselves are molded as separate peces that glue onto the wing tip. There is the base it goes onto which sticks out in front of the leading dege of the wing a little, but both of my Hasegawa Hornets had a sprue "box" around them to keep them from bending or breaking off. It it a real nice kit and I highly recommend it. One big tip is to take your time on it an carefully test fit and align everything before gluing and the fit will be virtually prefect.
