if Trump comes out with it as promised then I'll be one happy camper, now if it's as good as alot of people are raving about Trumps kits then thats even a better plus, now only if someone will have the guts to produce all of rest of the US Navys planes from 1946 to 1965 in 1/48 scale, then I'll be like a pig in mud, this sounds like we're headed in the right direction

This I've been waiting for. I built 2 vigilante kits. But both in 1/72 scale. It seems awkwards in my 1/48 squadron. Trumpeter's effort is welcomed.

Yup, a 1/48 Vigilante has been the top scorer in the last three "Most Wanted Kit" polls (lastest poll reported in May 2003 issue, p. 86). If Trumpeter pulls it off, they're going to make a lot of modelers happy.

I remember buying a small scale model of the Vigilante that ejected the bomb out the rear of the plane when I was in First Grade way back in "57"! I always wanted a bigger and better kit of it.

Clear Left!

I think as of right now only Collectaire makes a 1/48th Viggie. Nice kit but
hideously expensive.

Awesome!!!!!!!! I was hoping that an injection-molded kit was coming soon! The resin kits are a bit beyond me and my wallet.

I believe that the A-5 in 1/48 is one of Trumpeter's future releases.
Check their website.
