I dunno about that.. 'Course, this is the only color-pic I've seen of the He111, and this is actually the Spanish-built, Merlin-engined Casa 2111... But it looks pretty good..

RLM 66 just like Han's picture...unless it was real early in the war than most german interiors were RLM 02....

Up until mid-ish '41 RLM 02 was common...and it is sort of a light olive color so I'd say go w/ it...

Hi guys

To answer your question. Very early in the war most german aircraft cockpits were RLM 02. However I have found during research that quite a lot of HE-111P cockpits were RLM 66 while the rest of the internit and sirframe were RLM 02.

To get the 100% correct match to these colours use the following from the Vallejo Model Colour range

RLM 02 - VMC 70886

RLM 66 - VMC 70866

For the exterior

Upper surface Splinter Pattern RLM 70/71

RLM 70 - VMC 70897

RLM 71 - VMC 70894

Lower surface RLM 65v.1

RLM65v.1 - VMC 70906

After November lowersurfaces on all bombers was either RLM 65v.2 or RLM 76.

Please note that original pain chip matching proves that this was the same colour, renamed RLM 76 in November 1941

RLM 65v.2 / RLM 76 - VMC 70907

I hope that this answeres your question
