Here is my kit of the He 115. It was a great fun to build it, though I had some trouble with the nose section. The decals are superb.
Cheers,
Jan

You can certainly see some "family resemblance" with the He-111. Can't say that I've ever seen this one build before - nice job!

On the bench: Airfix 1/72 Wildcat; Airfix 1/72 Vampire T11; Airfix 1/72 Fouga Magister

nice job. Just watched a little video the other night about one of these they found in a norwegian fjord. Its now undergoing a museum resto. They said it was far enough up the fjord that the salt water proportion was fairly low in relation to fresh water so decay was fairly minimal. Cool plane.

I am now wanting to build one of these. Theres a 1/48 Special Hobby kit , but its pricey. 85-100  dollar range

It's a nice kit and the only game in town for a 1/48 115.  Had one in the stash a couple years ago and sold it on eBay for a bit of a profit.  I'd like another one though to actually build.

That is, hands down, the best experience I ever had with a Special Hobby kit even though it comes with some of the same known features common with their kits (no locating pins, no positive attachment points for the wings, etc).  Builds up very well.  i did insert brass rod into the pontoon struts to help keep those in place, but otherwise right out of the box.
