Bonanza Fit Problems
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, February 9, 2004 2:57 PM
Last night while waiting for other projects to dry, I decided to close up the Bonanza. When I put the fuselage halves together, on half of the model the panel lines line up on the bottom, and are about 1/16 of an inch off on the top. Also, I noticed that the windows are so thick, that they just hide everything inside. Disapprove [V] I'm more than a little bummed out about it, as I don't see how any sanding of filling will ever get the two halves to line up correctly. So What do you guys do with a kit that seems to be crap? Do you just chuck, chalk it up as a loss, or just accept the experience points, and push through??

If you are really bothered, play with it, when you have the time. Fill the panel lines and rescribe them. Find some clear plastic and make new windows. Or use it for target practice. What ever will improve your skills

I may get so drunk, I have to crawl home. But dammit, I'll crawl like a Marine.

I agree with Wayne - use it for paint practice, or, use it to hone up on your rescribing skills. Or, stick with Tamiya & Hasegawa!! heh heh heh.....Big Smile [:D]
