Thanks, folks!Smile [:)]

Frank, I'm glad I could bring back some pleasant memories for you! I remember always having a hard time maintaining my lane on I-285 around Hartsfield International. Too much rubbernecking watching all the aircraft!

DJ, Oooo, I love the Korean Air colors! The first time I came to Japan was on a Korean Air MD-11. Beautiful aircraft. My other main recollection of that particular flight was that every single flight attendant was stunningly beautiful! As they all are on the JAL flights I've taken, too.
Sorry, NorthWest!

Pix, all the windows are molded! Holes aplenty. Luckily, the JAL logo and gray bits up front aligned nicely. I think I'd go nuts trying to decal a row of windows that straight!

Thanks again, fellas!

Great job on the alignment of all those windows, Brian ! Were they decals or paint? They must be TINY in 1/200 ! Razor sharp build there !

Brian, nice model..! I built that one as a Korean Air plane. Around the same time too..! It is indeed a real little (well not so little!) jewel of a kit... I use matt primer paints from the Halford's automotive range to do my airliners' white ang grey bits, but I do give them a coat of Future/Klear prior decaling, weathering and detailing and final assembly.

Brian....

Another one... alright Brian, keep 'em coming!!

When I was in college, in Atlanta, Georgia from '82 - '86, I use to love going over the Hartsville International, in the parking lot just off the west end of the northern most runway, after it had been raining all day (high humidity), and watching the 747's come in!
After one of the Aluminum Overcast passed over the parking lot, you could see the "Vorticies" swirls making their way to the ground in the street lights, breaking into circular tornado's when they'd come in contact with power lines, signs, etc.

Thanks for another GREAT looking build, regardless how old it is!!

The cavalcade of oldies continues!
Here's Hasegawa's nice 1/200 747-400 in JAL livery. This is the only airliner I have ever built! This one is from 1995.

The pic:

It's a great little kit, and went together with no problems whatsoever.

I was torn between giving it a gloss or a flat finish, and finally chose flat.

For you airliner modelers out there, which do you choose? Shiny or flat?
Enquiring minds want to know!Big Smile [:D]
