Swanny, other than decals are there any aftermarket accessories (PE, Masks, etc.) for this model? I assume you are building the 1/48 Czech Model Multimedia kit you reviewed on you website. That's the one I'll be building as well.

It's still a little early in the career of the 1/48 goose for much of anything to be out. The 1/48 decals just hit and they came fast because Draw Decals already had the artwork done for the 1/72 kit and just had to upsize it and check the fit. FOr later commercial aircraft you need three blade props which can be stolen from OV-10A Bronco. Another item for later aircraft that's needed are retractable wing floats like on the Catalina - at this time no one makes them so you have to scratch build them - uhg. We'll probably see some more stuff from the aftermerket manufactures before the end of the year.

I'll be watching. Keep us up to date on the build, Swanny! Once I get my SB2C Helldiver into the final stages of it's build the Goose is the next on my assembly line. Since I stick to the WWII theme on all my planes I'll probably go with the decals the kit comes with.

Swanny:
I mailed you that RCMP Goose poster about three weeks ago; out of curiosity has it arrived yet?

Looks like an interesting aircraft!
I look forward to seeing it finished.
Which, for Swanny, should be in about a week!

Swanny,
We've got a bunch of "Geese" still flying around up here in Alaska. Let me know if you need any detail pics.

Got my new decals in from Draw Decals for my Goose.

As soon as I get a couple things off the workbench I'll be starting this conversion.
